English Inspired, American Made

Since 2005, Chetwode Custom Cabinetry has been made in Fairfield County by cabinetmaker and engineer Mike Pagett and his team. Built to order, this is custom cabinetry at its very best—no assembly lines, no mass production—just artisanal, expert craftsmanship with attention to every detail.

CUSTOM CABINETRY

When quality matters, we deliver. Chetwode collaborates with its customers to create a kitchen that is an extension of their individuality and lifestyle. We design, build, finish, and install cabinetry that is made to order, with your involvement every step of the way. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each project and set of designed and finished pieces are as unique as you are.

Chetwode Cabinetry delivered our kitchen cabinets on time and on budget. We had a good size kitchen but the layout was dated. It was a pleasure to work them to make it into what we wanted. The quality of their products was outstanding. We would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Ten years later, I still love my kitchen.

Formaldehyde Free

Chetwode Cabinetry has always been proudly constructed with formaldehyde-free materials. Emanating from resins and adhesives used in manufacturing, formaldehyde is found in plastics, particle board, plywood, medium-density fiberboard, and other materials often used in pre-made or factory-made cabinetry and furniture. The young and old are particularly susceptible to its harmful effects.

After years of living in a small 1856 farmhouse with a kitchen the size of a postage stamp, Mike and his company helped us create the kitchen of our dreams! They were fun to collaborate with and creative in their design approach as we worked to blend the old with the new. Equally important was their patience as we worked through the various iterations before reaching the end result. To this day we are thrilled with our kitchen and happy to recommend Mike/Chetwode to anyone looking to create a new kitchen - the heart of any home.
